Annona muricata belongs to the so-called solitary extracts, which on the one hand are characterized by absolute uniqueness and specificity, and on the other hand are ideal as separate one-component preparations. The plant is also known as graviola or soursop and is originally from the Peruvian Amazon, particularly the tropical parts of Peru. It is a small evergreen tree with elongated leaves and delicious fruits known as guanabana. The use of soursop in traditional medicine can be traced back to pre-Columbian times. In the Peruvian Andes, tea made from leaves is used to prevent mucosal infections, while crushed seeds are used against external and internal parasites. In Brazil, bark, roots and leaves are used to treat diabetes or as a sedative and as a remedy to prevent convulsions. For neuralgia, rheumatism and arthritis, oil from leaves and immature fruits mixed with olive oil is recommended. In Jamaica, Haiti, and the West Indies, fruit or fruit juice is taken for parasites, fever, and diarrhea, while the bark or leaves are used for cramps, as a sedative, and for heart disease, cough, and influenza. Since the 1970s, various independent researches have been carried out all over the world, providing us with very good analyses and evaluations of the plant. Thanks to this research, we now know all the components and processes related to analytical/biochemical properties, helping us to understand the immense impact and put these effects in context. However, all efforts to synthesize a cocktail of active ingredients that could be produced in the form of an effective drug have been unsuccessful. For this reason, the natural standardized extract remains the most available and functional form. The main constituents found in all parts of the plant are called annonaceous acetogenins. It is these compounds that are the focus of interest, as they are believed to have antitumor effects with selective toxicity against tumor cells. Studies conducted in three independent laboratories have shown that these acetogenins are inhibitors of enzymatic processes that occur only in tumor cell membranes. Therefore, they are toxic to cancer cells and harmless to healthy cells. In addition, Purdue University in Indiana, USA, has documented results showing that certain acetogenins are effective in killing tumors that have proven resistant to cytostatic drugs. To achieve the therapeutic effect of Soursop, a dose is required that is difficult to obtain in the usual way, such as in tea infusion or dry extract in capsules. Therefore, for the product Annona Muricata Forte, the proven concentrated extract has been selected to ensure an optimal supply of active ingredients with a convenient dosage.

Prickly Cannon (Annona muricata) fruit extract, thickeners: cellulose, xanthan gum, water, acidity regulator: citric acid, preservative: potassium sorbate.

Energy 541kJ/130kcal, total fat 0.5g, of which saturated fat 0.4g, carbohydrates 28.9g, of which sugar 3.5g, protein 2.72g, salt 0.2g. 

Recommended dosage: 

Adults: 5 drops, 3x daily.

Increase fluid intake during consumption. Shake before use. Mix the product with about 100 ml of water and consume half an hour before or after meals. We recommend taking a one-week break after each three-week use.
