Energy-Tape 5x500cm

Energy tape is made of pure cotton fabric and is entirely latex-free. The adhesive surface consists of acrylic adhesive without pharmacological additives. Therefore, the effect is exclusively nervous-reflective and physical. Energy tape is breathable and water resistant, ie: Showering, sauna, sports, swimming, work are possible without any restriction and without loss of quality. Stretchability and thickness of Energy-Tape are an imitation of skin, muscle and fascia properties. The effect is consistent for up to 7 days of wear. The backing paper itself is coated with silicone to ensure better release of the backing paper from the tape.

Things to know about taping:

Preparation of the skin for taping:

The skin must be free of grease and dry. Longer hair must be trimmed, otherwise not enough skin contact can be made and effectiveness would be questionable. Shaving the skin should be done at least 24 hours before therapy to seal the small skin lesions and consequently minimize skin irritation and itching.

Indications:

• Nerve complaints (e.g.: Lumbago, carpal tunnel syndrome, nerve compression complaints, trigeminal neuralgia).
• Lymphedema
• Joint complaints (wrist instabilities, bruises, shoulder-arm syndrome, impingement syndrome, frozen shoulder
• Cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine syndromes
• Segmental complaints (menstrual cramps, bronchial asthma)
• Temporomandibular joint problems

What does the Energy-Tape do?

Depending on how it is applied to the body using different application techniques, it has the following effects:

• Pain relieving
• Muscle relaxing or supporting
• Decongestant
• Promotes blood circulation and metabolism
• Reflective via dermatomes and meridians and thus also influences internal organs, such as in:  Asthma, menstrual cramps, ...

Kinesio-Taping has a very wide range of effects and can be used for many pain and inflammation conditions as well as swelling, after operations or for scar treatment.
